Orkiestra Samanta folk - rockowy zespół z Wrocławia. Potężna dawka żywiołowej, pełnej ekspresji muzyki, w połączeniu z barwnymi opowieściami o morzu stanowi o wyjątkowości twórczości artystycznej. Muzyka to wypadkowa fascynacji folkiem irlandzkim, szantami i własnymi doświadczeniami morskimi. Orkiestra Samanta to już od wielu lat uznana marka w środowisku młodych zespołów z kręgu szant i muzyki folkowej zyskująca sobie coraz większą popularność wśród stale rosnącej rzeszy oddanych fanów, zarówno w Polsce, jak i za granicą.

Their original lyrics and melodies are greatly inspired by Irish folk, shanties, and their own travels to the sea. For many years Orkiestra Samanta is making its name on the young shanty and folk scene, consistently increasing its popularity among the ever bigger fan base, in Poland, as well as abroad.

(F) Orchestre Samanta est un groupe de folk-rock cherchant ses inspirations dans le folk irlandais, les chants de marins et dans ses propres expériences en mer. Sa création artistique exceptionnelle est constituée d’une forte dose de musique dynamique, pleine de vivacité, avec des histoires pittoresques de la vie en mer, ce qui lui a permis de gagner une reconnaissance grandissante non seulement en Pologne, mais aussi à l'étranger.

(D) Die Orchester Samanta ist eine Folkrockband aus Breslau, die Inspirationen für ihre Musik aus irischen Volksmusik, Shantys und eigener Seeerfahrungen schöpft. Eine riesige Dosis elementarer, ausdrucksvoller Musik in Verbindung mit lebhaften Seeerzählungen bildet ein ungewöhnliches Kunstschaffen, was seit Jahren eine Wiederspiegelung in ständig zunehmender Menge von Fans , sowohl in Polen als auch im Ausland, hat.

Bis jetzt hat die Band 4 CDs aufgenommen: "Kurs do domu" (2002), "Pod wiatr" (2005), "Odyseja" (2005), "Sztorm"(2009).

REGATY SZANTYMENÓW

Regatowa załoga Orkiestry Samanta zdobyła III miejsce w II Ogólpolskich Regatach Szantymenów.
Regaty odbyły się 19.08.2011 na jeziorze Dargin na Mazurach przy bardzo silnych wiatrach i trudnych warunkach atmosferycznych. Wszystkim szanownym, szantowym załogom dziękujemy za wspaniałą i sportową rywalizację. Gratulujemy organizatorom perfekcyjnej organizacji wydarzenia.



We are proud to announce that our Boat Race Crew, made up of the members of Orkiestra Samanta, grabbed the THIRD place during the Second Polish National Regatta of Shantymen.
The Regatta was held on Aug. 19, 2011 on the Lake Dargin amidst the beautiful Masuria, under strong winds and harsh weather conditions. We would like to thank all the honorable shanty crews for this great sports competition. To compete against such worthy opponents was a real honor to us! Congratulations to the organizers for the perfect management of the event.

Nou sommes fiers d´annoncer que l'équipage Orchestre Samantha a pris la troisième place à la Deuxième Régate Polonaise des Szantymen.
La Régate a eu lieu 19/08/2011 sur le lac Dargin au milieu de la Mazurie, contre des vents très forts et des conditions météorologiques difficiles. Merci à tous les équipages honorables des shantymen pour une excellente rivalité sportive. La compétition avec des concurrents aussi dignes était un grand honneur pour nous! Félicitations aux Organisateurs pour l'organisation parfaite de l'événement.
